Design Your Own Jewelry

 Custom made jewelry is usually designed on paper and then carved from wax which is destroyed by extreme heat in the casting process, known as lost wax casting.  Visit the How custom jewelry is made page to view a step by step illustration of the jewelry making process.  The jewelry designer custom carves each wax model individually, making each piece as unique as the person receiving it.

  If you have a picture or sketch of a design, this would be extremely helpful to Tony in creating your custom jewelry piece.  Tony can also send sketches of your design for your approval. During the process he will email you pictures of how your piece of custom jewelry is being made.  This close personal service helps to ensure that you get a very special piece of custom jewelry to treasure for many years to come. Your creation could be almost any type of jewelry including sports championship rings, company logo jewelry,  unique pendants or pins, custom designed engagement rings and wedding rings, sterling silver rings and pendants and unique custom class rings.

  Payne's Custom Jewelry can cast your custom made jewelry in yellow or white gold, sterling silver or platinum.  Tony can also use, or give you an allowance on, any scrap gold  you supply to make your custom jewelry piece.  Diamonds and any other natural gemstones can be supplied and used in your custom ring or pendant at a reasonable price.  Any gemstones you desire can be set in your custom jewelry including your own stones.  Synthetic gemstones, including CZs, can also be used in your unique custom pendant or ring.

 Unique Custom Jewelry Costs

  The prices for your custom designed jewelry depends upon the complexity of the design, the precious metal used and whether any  gemstones are included in the design. For a simple ring the labor charge to carve, cast and finish begins at $250.  The labor charge for a simple custom made pendant starts at $150.  The labor charge for a custom made sports championship or class ring begins at $1,200.  The price of the precious metal will depend upon the type metal, it's weight and current market conditions.
